Idea
This English refresher course is aimed at anyone who works on a ward and is ideal for those who have attended the "English for Nurses" course to refresh their language skills in dealing with patients. Using new texts, exercises and lots of role plays, you will be trained in how to communicate professionally with English-speaking patients in hospital. After attending this course, you will feel more confident when a patient is admitted to hospital and you will be able to talk about the patient's complaints, the equipment used by the nurses on the ward, the medication, the medical records, etc.
This English course is a refresher of the knowledge acquired in the 'English for Nurses' course, which is repeated, deepened and extended. Hospital staff are taught the most important vocabulary and phrases for everyday hospital life, such as patient admission, patient questionnaires, vital signs, medication, patient pain and complaints, etc.. Existing knowledge from the first course will be refreshed and expanded, and you will gain confidence and the tools to deal appropriately with English-speaking patients through many role plays and exercises.
