Development-promoting, family-centered, individual care concept for premature and newborn babies

Idea

Development-promoting stands for the care and treatment of premature babies from birth, which is always geared towards enabling the brain to develop optimally and thereby avoiding possible disruptions to the long-term development of premature babies.

Family-centered focuses on parental competence and autonomy and promotes bonding with the child.

Individual describes the consideration of the physical and emotional needs of each individual premature baby and its family.

Care One of the aims of this course is to be able to assess the reactions of the premature baby at each age stage in order to prevent stress and to care for the children in a way that promotes their development during the inpatient phase.
