Malnutrition due to illness is a serious care problem. It is associated with a reduced quality of life and an increased risk of general medical complications, including an increased need for care and mortality.

Nutrition management is an interdisciplinary field in which nurses, doctors, dieticians, nutritionists, nutritionists and pharmacists can work together. In order to qualify nurses for this field, various skills must be learned. This training course therefore aims to equip nurses with the necessary skills to enable them to provide evidence-based, interdisciplinary nutrition management in hospitals. This advertised course is the basic course for nursing experts in nutrition management. An advanced course must be completed for full recognition.
