Palliative medicine basic course

Dear people interested in palliative care and courses,

The Department of Palliative Medicine at the UKHD would like to invite you to the third Heidelberg course ("basic course") for doctors wishing to obtain the additional qualification in palliative medicine.

For us, palliative medicine is not an isolated specialized field, but above all expertise, skills, reflection and a basic attitude that can be a support in dealing with the seriously ill and dying in many places in and outside the hospital.

We would like to create an environment of trustful exchange, enrichment and learning, with all the organizational experience of the Heidelberg Academy for Health Professions.

We are already looking forward to the course, the time spent together and the resulting growth in joint networking.
